Penkala’s blog

We have divided Penkala’s scientific blog into three categories: Scientific Topics, Industry Topics, and Guide to Doctorates.

Through thematic blog posts, both our own and guest scientists and researchers present their research areas, describe narrower research interests, provide useful tips during writing and defending doctoral dissertations, share their experiences on the academic journey to obtaining a Ph.D. title, and much more.

By launching the scientific blog, our aim was to enhance visibility into the diverse research our scientists engage in, and to provide younger generations with an overview of the various activities across scientific fields and a firsthand perspective.

However, many of us still consider posters as a less interesting format, while presentations are seen as more…

How to network when we hate networking?

Autor: Una Pale What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of the term ‘networking’? ‘Uhh’, ‘How do I even start a conversation?’, ‘What to talk about? I don’t know anything about the person’, ‘I hate small talk’, ‘Superficial and transactional’? It is true that connecting with new people can be…
