We are thrilled to announce that Croatia has officially joined EURODOC eurodoc.net, the European Council of Doctoral Candidates and Junior Researchers! 🎉
Luka Savić, President of Udruga Penkala and PhD candidate researcher at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Textile Technology, and Tea Vasiljević, Vice President of Udruga Penkala and a PhD candidate researcher at the Ruđer Bošković Institute will be representing Croatia in EURODOC.
EURODOC’s mission to represent doctoral candidates and junior researchers at the European level aligns perfectly with our goals at Udruga Penkala. As the national association representing Croatia, we are committed to advocating for the interests of early-career researchers, fostering collaboration, and promoting excellence in research.
In addition to representing Udruga Penkala, Luka and Tea will also represent interests and achievements of the University of Zagreb Faculty of Textile Technology and the Ruđer Bošković Institute, also other Universities in Croatia as well. Their leadership will highlight the innovative research and academic excellence of these prestigious institutions on the European stage.
Luka and Tea bring a benefit of experience, dedication, and a deep commitment to supporting young researchers. Their leadership will ensure that Croatian voices are heard, and our contributions recognized on the European stage.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Luka and Tea for their appointments and express our deepest gratitude to EURODOC for welcoming Croatia into this esteemed community. The decision to accept Penkala was done on EURODOC’s yearly conference and AGM (Annual gathering meeting) held at University of Ljubljana.
