Mutimir

Mutimir is the largest annual interdisciplinary conference for young Croatian researchers from science and industry, both within Croatia and abroad. It is traditionally organized in the period between Christmas and New Year’s, set amidst the scenic Stubičke Toplice.

The purpose of Mutimir is to cultivate a welcoming atmosphere and provide numerous opportunities for future friendships and professional connections within the academic and scientific community. Each participant of the gathering has the chance to briefly present their work and research interests. Apart from networking and getting to know one another, the event includes poolside conversations, coffee chats, guitar strums, as well as engagement in opinion exchanges, brainstorming, workshops, roundtable discussions, and attending lectures from visiting scientists, researchers, as well as representatives from young and successful Croatian companies who support the continuation of Mutimir through their golden, silver, or bronze sponsorships. The ultimate goal is to facilitate both horizontal (interdisciplinary) and vertical (intergenerational) approaches in the transmission of relevant knowledge and experiences.
